Michael F. Uzdavines is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. Prior to becoming a shareholder at Uzdavines Law Group, Mr. Uzdavines was an associate in Saunders & Walker, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Mr. Uzdavines has worked on Fen-Phen litigation, automobile accidents, slip and falls, and sexual abuse cases.
Mr. Uzdavines graduated from the University of Tampa in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Prior to attending the University of Tampa he attended Mississippi State on a full academic scholarship, and played shortstop on the Bulldogs baseball team for two years. Mr. Uzdavines then transferred to the University of Tampa where he continued to play baseball, and was part of the 1998 Division II National Championship team. His baseball success has taken him as far as Prague, Czech Republic, where he spent a summer teaching baseball in youth programs. Currently in the community, Mr. Uzdavines is an active volunteer in the AAU youth baseball programs.
Mr. Uzdavines was honored on the Dean’s List at University of Tampa from 1998 through 2000. He was also honored with the C. Herbert Laub History award given to the graduate with the highest academic standing in the major.
Mr. Uzdavines went on to earn his J.D. from University of Florida Levin College of Law. Mr. Uzdavines earned honors in Appellate Advocacy and went on to serve as a teacher assistant in Appellate Advocacy. Mr. Uzdavines is now dedicating his time as a trial attorney to helping those who have been injured and giving them a voice.
